Walk with St. Francis!

We at Modern Catholic Pilgrim are excited to partner with the Benedict the XVI Institute and the National Shrine of St. Francis in San Francisco to host the second Way of St. Francis on Saturday, September 17th, a walked pilgrimage through the city to honor the great saint's reception of the first documented stigmata (the marks left on Christ's body during the Crucifixion).

Our Schedule:

9:00am - Pilgrims' Blessing Prayer Service at the Cathedral

9:45am - Begin Walking to the National Shrine of St. Francis

11:45am - Arrive at the Shrine for a special Pilgrims' Mass featuring a Cantor and Organist from the Benedict the XVI Institute

12:15pm - Pilgrims' Mass

12:45-1:45pm - Food and Fellowship (bus back to the Cathedral at 1:45pm)

Transportation will be available back to the Cathedral after lunch. All pilgrims will be asked to make a goodwill offering either beforehand at https://donorbox.org/promoting-pilgrimage or on the day of the pilgrim.
